Associated Press:

LOS ANGELES – A Romanian man was indicted on charges that he hacked into more than 150 government computers used by the Navy, Department of Energy and NASA.
Victor Faur, 26, of Arad, Romania, cost the government $1.5 million in losses by computers over a two-year period that ended last month, according to the indictment issued Thursday by a federal grand jury here.
“The computers that had to be taken out of service and repaired were collecting and analyzing scientific data that cannot be replaced,” Assistant U.S. Atty. Brian Hoffstadt said.

Read the entire article, and get yourself amazed by the brain-fucked comments of these morons. Once again I’m convinced I’m surrounded by criminals and morons in this oozing rectal wart country of ours.

Seen all those science-fiction cheap B movies or more or less cool first person shooter games where mindless machine gun sentries would follow your move and shoot you? Now you will be able to experience this live (at first).

It’s frightening.

Update (19.11.2006):

Machine gun sentry robot? Oh, oh, oh. We want to learn how to defend ourselves against machine gun sentry robots, do we? Getting all high and mighty, eh? Killer bionic bees not good enough for you eh? Well I’ll tell you something my lad. When you’re walking home tonight and some great homicidal maniac comes after you with a bunch of bionic gloves, don’t come crying to me! Now, the killer robotic bee. When your assailant lunges at you a killer bee…

it’s time to get a bionic splasher.

Linus Torvalds Officially a Hero

November 13th, 2006

[from slashdot]

“The European edition of the Time magazine has selected Linus Torvalds as one of the heroes of the past 60 years. From the main article: ‘In the 60 years that Time has been publishing an Atlantic edition, extraordinary people have emerged from the churn and turmoil, creativity and chaos of a period that witnessed the aftermath of world war, the toppling of communism in Central and Eastern Europe, the vanquishing of apartheid in South Africa, the advance of women, the failure of old certainties and the rise of new fears. These people are our heroes, and in this special anniversary issue, we celebrate them and their many achievements.’ The article on Linus is titled ‘By giving away his software, the Finnish programmer earned a place in history.’ Linus is cited in the ‘Rebels & Leaders’ category along with Nelson Mandela, Mikhail Gorbachev, Margaret Thatcher, and others.”

We’re back

November 12th, 2006

So, we’re back, on a new hosting. I hope you enjoyed the intermission and had some treats from the lobby.

I’ll quote gasmonso from ReligiousFreaks on this one: “Suddenly, stock in hijabs just went through the roof. I’ll be getting one for my wife, but that’s another topic ;)”.
It seems that the original wearers of the hijab were pretty far from what they want us to believe now: namely, tantra priests!
All hail my proposal for Muazzez Ilmiye Cig as a Peace Nobel Prize winner!
